WWF Armenia
An official registered branch of WWF International was established in Armenia in November 2006, as a part of WWF Caucasus Programme Office, however the WWF began its activities in Armenia in 2002.
The WWF has a mission to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.
The WWF works to develop and strengthen protected areas of Armenia. A very important focus of WWF activities includes the conservation and restoration of ecosystems and threatened species such as the Caucasian leopard, Armenian mouflon, Bezoar goat, Brown bear and other species
